Georgia agrees to a 3% increase for ABA services
A first step. We're pressing for reimbursement that reflects the real cost of care.
One voice for Georgia's ABA providers at the Capitol, at DCH and with every Medicaid CMO.
Autism Providers of Georgia (APG) is a 501(c)(6) professional association that serves and advocates for autism therapy providers across the state, to protect and strengthen access to quality care for Georgians on the autism spectrum.
We track relevant bills, resolutions and budget provisions before the Georgia General Assembly that affect autism services, ABA reimbursement and Medicaid policy, and represent APG's positions to lawmakers.
We monitor DCH actions, CMO contract and rate changes, and formal notices affecting reimbursement methodologies, credentialing rules and policy.
We represent members' interests before DCH and other state agencies by submitting formal comments on proposed rate methodologies, credentialing rules and administrative policy changes.
We design, distribute and analyze member surveys that document the scope and impact of policy or payer actions, and turn the findings into advocacy positions.
We identify and cultivate relationships with allied organizations, legislators and other stakeholders whose support strengthens our advocacy positions.
We prepare testimony, talking points and written materials for legislative hearings, agency comment periods and press engagement on behalf of APG.
We provide regular, timely updates, including legislative tracking summaries, regulatory alerts and CMO transitions.
Together, we shape autism policy for Georgia.
